JensBags is the handmade line of California style clutches and totes by Jen Michel.

Drawing on her 12 years of experience in interior decorating for the hospitality industry, Jen began designing bags after being struck with a bolt of inspiration. She bought a sewing machine and quickly got to work crafting her line of bags. Marrying natural fibers with bold, geometric patterns, Jen produced a union of throughly Californian styles.

With a deep knowledge of color and fabric that comes from her years of interior design, Jen expertly weaves colorful fabrics with sturdy, natural linen and jute to craft versatile pieces equally at home on casual weekend jaunts and elegant, formal outings. Her playful, vibrant creations are emblematic of her California roots and inspire as many new adventures as they draw upon.
